NYC GOOD EATS

EATALY

200 5th AVENUE. NYC

Italian Marketplace filled with food stalls. This is the perfect place to rest your feet after touring around the world trade center and nearby sights.  We opted for a Duo flavor Gelato (Almond Tiramisu highly recommended) among the plentiful options of food, drinks and desserts.  It's an Italian wonderland.

POMMES FRITES

128 MACDOUGAL ST. NYC

If you're a fries lover then this may be a place to check out, double fried authentic Belgian Fries with variety of sauce options to choose from. Seating is very limited, this is more suitable if you're looking for a snack on the go.  I recommend trying the Sweet Mango Chutney or Organic Black Truffle sauce.

ABC KITCHEN

35 E 18th STREET NYC

How could you possibly go wrong with a chic eatery by Jean Georges. The Food, Atmosphere, Drinks and Service everything deserved an A+ in my book. Attached to the ABC Furniture and Home Decor store this place had such an unique design, its corky with loads of reclaimed furniture, yet it all comes together with elegance.  You might find it absurd, but a must try entree on their menu is the fried chicken, I wasn't initially sold on the idea either but now I am an advocate!
To keep it short, make sure you make a reservation, this is an NYC must stop restaurant.

FIVE SENSE

9 W 32nd STREET, NYC

No doubt the comforting scent of asian food captured us. On our way to the Grand Central Station we stumbled upon Korean town and couldn't resist checking out the restaurants. Spoiled by the abundance of Korean cuisine in Cali, this place did not disappoint, Five Sense definitely had their own spin on Korean classic dishes.
