Your sanctuary should be a space you enjoy and love spending time in. I personally like to keep it very minimal and clean. Make decluttering a weekly task and style the shelving differently once in awhile with your favorite bits to keep things fresh. 

Awhile back I came across these cute prints on Pinterest and decided to DIY my own this weekend with some watercolor paper, paint and gold frames from IKEA. 

Now the space is even more to love.
