PARIS GUIDE- DAY 2
SPRING 2018
DAY 2
FOR THE SWEET TOOTH
Macaroon, Ice Cream, Crepe, Petite Gateau, Mille Feuille, we tired it all!
I personally prefer the macaroons from Pierre Herme over Laduree, it is less sweet and the flavors are more defined. But who could resist the packaging at Laduree! I had the sweetest sales associate there that gave us a few free ones for tasting and from time to time they will have collaborations with limited flavors and gift boxing, great for gifting.
LADUREE
14 RUE DE CASTIGLIONE
ANGELINA
226 RUE DE RIVOLI
CITY PHARMA
26 RUE DU FOUR
LE BON MARCHE
24 RUE DE SEVRES
I wanted to spend some time really making some purchases at these 2 places. We first took a cab to Le Bon Marche
my favorite department store in Paris, everything is so well merchandised, lots of locals (no many tourists), not crowded and very good service. Just a few blocks from the department store is the biggest City Pharma in Paris. At this place you could get all the popular drugstore items for the best price. I rushed in at the very last hour and still a line out the door. I suggest if you are a skincare junkie like me GO EARLY and take your time. There is so much to see!
PASSAGE DE PANORAMAS
11 BOULEVARD MONTMARTRE
This location is a little further out from the central Paris, it's a unique covered walkway with old-school eateries, artisan shops. It's a great place to soak in the French culture. At the end of the passage is where we decided to have dinner. A small Thai restaurant that was packed full of local people.
KAPUNKA
38 PASSAGE DES PANORAMAS
THE EIFFEL TOWER
Here is a list of locations where you can view the tower from, different angles and distances.
Our shots were taken from spot 8, JARDINS DU TROCADERO. Its a bit of ways from the tower itself but a great places to see the entire tower sparkle by night.
DAY 3 coming soon...
